ONLINE BASS LESSON

• Proper bass guitar setup and tuning
• Finger placement and hand posture
• Basic fingerstyle and picking techniques
• Simple bass lines and root note playing
• Introduction to rhythm and timing
• Playing with a metronome or drum track
• How to lock in with the drums and support the groove 

• Scales (major, minor, pentatonic)
• Playing with dynamics and articulation
• Learning songs by ear and from tabs
• Introduction to slap and pop techniques
• Groove-building across different genres (rock, funk, reggae, blues)
• Building walking bass lines
• Playing along with backing tracks and live instruments 

We require the student to install Google meet and Zoom meeting app, we will use this app / software on the day of the lesson.

The Student should have the instrument ready and available during the session, 

student can provide ANY of the following:

- Acoustic Bass Guitar

- Electric Bass Guitar

Before the Time of the session, you can request for joining 10 mins in advance before the lesson time to test the video set-up and audio connection

For the lesson, the important part is the Teacher and Student should be able to hear and see each other together with the instrument clearly during the session.
